Fewer, Better Things...

I cannot think of a better slogan when attempting to simplify your life. I don't know about you but I am always willing to spend a little more on something that I love. Especially when I know it will last, both in style (classic) and in material (pebbled Italian leather).

The Classic Leather Tote

The bag that started an obsession. In a world of accessories full of trendy, over-the-top details, it's ironically hard to locate something simple and timeless, especially in a quality material. A few years ago on Tumblr, I ran across a photo of a leather tote that I could only describe as sheer perfection, and also in my favorite color - taupe?!? I dug through links until I ended up on the Cuyana website only to get the dreaded "back-ordered" message for the Stone Classic Leather Tote. I signed myself up and was pleasantly surprised to get an email of its availability fairly soon after. The bag wasn't inexpensive but in the world of handbags, certainly reasonable. I knew I would love the bag so I went for it and three years later, it is still my absolute favorite every day bag.

The Crossbody Pouch

Apparently I am not the only one hooked on this brand, its motto, and the perfection of each piece, because in 2017 they installed a pop-up shop in Boston. Just a block away from work! I had been eyeing the crossbody pouch (in stone, of course!) from the minute I got the tote. I knew I could replace a variety of smaller bags with this single, perfect, neutral one. All it took was one trip into the shop, and sold! Between these two bags, I rarely use any others unless I created it myself or I'm going to the gym.

If only I could just purchase everything, but you know, reality... I do have my eye on a few more:

Finally I am utterly torn between the Classic Structured and the Classic Zippered totes in black, or maybe stone...
