As much as I hate to say goodbye to the holidays, I tend to always find myself in a nice transition from Christmas to Winter in my house right around now.

After I lovingly remove and pack up the ornaments from the tree, I start to wander around my house looking for anything red. Cranberries, garlands, ribbons, gnomes with their little red hats. While they get stored for the next year, I'm still left with greens, twinkling lights, candles, pinecones, sheepskins, wool, and snowflakes peppered throughout the house.

It still feels so warm and cozy, and I get to keep it that way for a few months more!
